I always say that i am going to do all these cool DIY things that I see on these websites and I have tried a few (cupcakes mainly - people who know me will know that I have been making cupcakes every weekend trying to perfect the 'ultimate' cupcake).
Less of the going on about DIY Lucy. I decided that I was going to try growing an avocado plant. I do like avocado anyway so off I went down to the shops to buy an avocado.
I went to the Co-Op and to my luck they were selling them reduced to 75p. It was quite hard so I had to wait a few days until it had ripened and on Sunday it was the perfect ripeness for using the actual avocado to eat.
I followed this guide on how to get started etc. so I wont bore you with those details but here is the picture of my stone on the first day.
As you can see not much has happened in a day but I am anticipating a miracle by day 5. Watch this space.
